Walter Dusatti was born in Turriaco, Italy in 1930. Dusatti became a member of the Trieste art group at a young age and completed his artistic studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venezia. His rich cultural background and historic settings of his country and the feelings they instilled in him played a very significant roll in his artistic development.

Ultimately, Dusatti became a professor of painting and the history of art. By 1980 he decided to commit himself completely to painting. Dusatti was quite aware that the style of painting he knew and loved was becoming more and more sought after. He enjoys using soft colors and detailed effects between light and shade.
