William E. Ryan was born in Oakland, California. Graduating from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York he devotes his full time painting subjects he loves ranging from land and cityscapes to marine and wild life. He is valued member of the Marine Society of Marine Arts and, impressively enough, listed in “Who’s Who in American Art." His exceptional work has won numerous awards and is collected in corporate and private collections around the world by people like Author Ernest K. Gann and the Untied States Navy Art Collection Washington DC. Clearly, William E. Ryan is a name to watch and be collected!
