Yevgeny Khrykin

Yevgeny Khrykin was born in Smolensk, Russia, in 1972. Soon after he was born, his family moved to Kiev where he was raised. As a child, Khrykin aspired to be an artist. But when he finished secondary school and matriculated to college, Khrykin studied architecture. After his second year, his interest in art heightened and he enrolled in visual art, easel painting and sculpture at the Art College of Yaroslavl and the Art College of St. Petersburg. He returned to the Ukraine after his studies and worked as a graphic designer. His personality is one of solitude and reflection and Yevgeny most enjoys easel painting. It allows him solace and freedom of imagination. His work resides in the collection of William J. Clinton's Presidential Library and Museum.
