Bruno Luna

Bruno Luna was born in Mexico City on July 9, 1963. Since his childhood, he found an interest in art that ultimately led to his attendance at the Anahuac University of Mexico City to study Architecture and Graphic Design.

Luna’s Professional career began as an assistant for renowned Mexican Sculptor, Marcelo Moradin. After his time assisting Moradin, Luna chose to travel the world to study Art History and Marketing. It was during this time that Luna began to experiment with sculpture and put his education and experiences with Moradin to work.

Over the years, Luna’s style has become very distinct, tapping into the influences of his Mexican heritage and tradition, as well as a Picasso-like, semi-cubist treatment of the human body. He creates sculptures with a signature voluptuous figure that capture a moment and exude joy and vitality. He breathes life into his sculptures, giving them personality and character.

Sculpture continues to be Luna’s main passion; however, he has taken on many other duties and activities within the artistic community. Luna, in addition to being an extraordinary artist, is a collector, editor, promoter, auctioneer, and is in the prestigious position of Director of La Galeria 10/10. Bruno Luna's sculptures appeared on a Mexican soap opera called "Mi Abuelo y Yo." His works have also been featured in over fifty philanthropic auctions all around Mexico and Costa Rica.
