Elizabeth Pena was born in Lima, Peru. As youth she would often draw, which lead to her parents encouraging her to go to art school. She ultimately enrolled at the Escuela Nacional Superior Autonoma de Balla Artes de Peru where she studied painting and drawing. Despite her recent introduction to the American market, her works have been very well received.
