John Jennings was born in Idaho in 1948. He exhibited artistic talents at a young age and went on to gain great skills in depicting ocean and marine life.

The mural, “Welcome Home”, at Cannery Row in Monterey California has served as an icon for marine conservation since 1990. Since painting this mural, Jennings has built a career as an internationally known marine artist and is the third American artist to be invited for a one man exhibit at St. Petersburg’s world renowned Russian Museum.

On February 18, 2004, Jennings became the first Cultural Ambassador for the Province of the Galapagos Islands.

Jennings has been exhibited in many fine art venues throughout the United States and continues to actively create original works of art to satisfy collectors.
