Artist Kai Thorsten began his career as a watchmaker, which allowed him to develop an eye for precision and detail. In his free time, Thorsten would create paintings and etchings, and he used his technical background to experiment with etching styles – he is one of the few artists who make very deep etchings. Thorsten’s style ranges dramatically from the simple and nostalgic to the bold and colorful.
