Oscar Paukas was born 1949 in Ica, Peru graduating from the prestigious art school Escuela Nacional de Artes Lima. Paukas' work is known brilliantly to intertwine South American culture and has been in over 50 exhibitions. Honorable mentions are First Prize at the very prestigious Club de la Blanca y Comercio in Peru and paintings in the Art Museum Guayasamin in Quito, Ecuador.
