Born in 1962 on the lower east side of Manhattan, and a graduate of P.S.6, Poco was fascinated by the world of toons. Loving the adult humor of his favorite cartoons Poco has brought that humor to his word plays and risqué pop characters.

Commissioned by clothing companies, watch manufactures and TV show executives to display and create Poco is a nameless icon in the world of pop art. He has stated that: “Laughter is all we have to escape the cruelties of this world. My characters come from a better place – one day I hope to visit.”
