Texas-raised Carolyn Lankford didn’t consider a career in art until after years of being a wife, mother, and homemaker. She studied Russian history and anthropology, expecting to spend her life in research and writing. It was only after some time of this that Lankford decided to translate her passion as an artist into a career. Since then, she has mainly worked with oils, and paints with the hope that her creations manage to “capture the soul of a place.”
