Leslie Sayour is inspired by the bright colors of her grandmother's country quilts, two-year old Leslie Jackson started her own artistic career using crayons to create bright shapes.
Leslie is a self-taught artist, finding her inspiration in colors and nature. She began to paint flowers seriously in 1970 when Sayour rented a tiny cottage on thirteen spectacularly landscaped acres on a cliff overlooking the ocean at Point Loma, San Diego she became intoxicated with the colors, the forms, the language of petals and stems.
