Suejin Jo is a Korean-born abstract painter currently based in New York City. She studied at the Art Students League, where she received the McDowell Fellowship. Jo paints with a distinctive medium of oil and dry pigment, employing a technique of "inlay" similar to 11th-century Korean potters.
