Vanoy Lester majored in art preparatory to becoming an art instructor. She taught art at the university level while pursuing her own part-time until 1993 when following her husband’s death she decided to concentrate on creating “a legacy on canvas.” Her art is an extension of her world travels chronicled on canvas.
