Born in Ithaca, New York in 1972, Zelda has been passionate about art and nature since she was very young. Beginning with a talent for photography that she picked up from her father, Zelda earned a position as the assistant to a local photographer when she was only in eighth grade. It was through this apprenticeship in particular, and her love of photography in general, that Zelda learned to manage the business of art, as well as the techniques of form and composition that currently serve her so well. Zelda carried these lessons with her into her study of painting, which she began toward the end of high school. She then entered the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she studied photography, art history, color theory, sculpture, drawing, and painting.

Living in San Francisco, New York and Atlanta exposed Zelda to a wide range of cultural influences and artistic style that shine through her art. Zelda’s paintings can be found in private and corporate collections in the United States and abroad.
