Glenn Ziemke began glassblowing in 1976 as a student at Penn State University. After graduating in 1978, Ziemke worked as an apprentice for one year before founding his first studio in Accord, New York. While in New York, Ziemke showed his work in craft galleries and art fairs through the Eastern United States. In 1995, Ziemke built Ziemke Glassblowing Studio in Waterbury Center, Vermont. He sells his work exclusively through his studio, which is open 363 days a year.
