Allison Lefcort

Born in 1975, Allison Lefcort began painting in her early childhood and continued following that passion throughout her youth and adolescent years, into her current fame. By the time she was sixteen years old, Lefcort was professionally represented by The Greenwich Village Art Gallery in New York City. Inspired by the work of Andy Warhol and Keith Haring, she has developed a unique style of portraiture that focuses on boldness and simplicity. She frequently uses vibrant hues in the background of her pieces in order to emphasize the shapes and shadows of the image. In doing so, she enhances her paintings, giving them an almost three-dimensional quality.

Although still young, Allison Lefcort has made a name for herself in artistic and commercial circles. Her pop art and stunning portraits have been commissioned by Hillary Rodham Clinton and the late King Hussein of Jordan and Queen Noor, and she has worked with Disney Fine Art to create remarkable pieces inspired by Disney traditions. Her creations can be found in the private and corporate collections of Barbara Streisand, Dionne Warwick, The Walt Disney Gallery, Liza Minnelli, and the Indigo Girls, to name just a few. Allison Lefcort continues to create and sell her remarkable creations, exhibiting it alongside the world-famous artwork of contemporary pop art luminaries like Peter Max and Romero Britto in galleries around the world.
