Hawaiian artist, Jocelyn Cheng, lives in a world filled with creativity and art. With wonderful teachers who showed Cheng the magic of being creative and expressive through various avenues, she was inspired to pursue her artistic endeavors where she continues to evolve.

A catalyst for Cheng's evolution was her diagnosis with thyroid cancer in 1989. She was initially devastated, but she began to explore watercolor and water-media work. By the time her treatments ended 1994, she had grown in confidence and acquired a new perspective on what is truly meaningful. In the process, she learned to appreciate being present, and to bring that spirit into her artwork.
