American artist Joseph Holsten is arguably one of the most celebrated modern painters in America! His groundbreaking images and themes explore black culture and delve into its African roots. Holsten's revolutionary abstract techniques and colorings have also garnered a host of esteemed awards, commissions and exhibitions.

Among his thousands of ardent admirers are such collectors as Michael Jordan, Lyndon B. Johnson, and the Miller Brewing Company. Holsten was also tapped to be the Official Artist of the Chicago Jazz Festival for 1996 and 1997.
