Judith Hall

Judith Hall was born in Missouri, she began her education in Indiana, moving to Texas and then to New Orleans for a number of years, and finally to Atlanta. She attended Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. She later attended the University of Tennessee, where she sought out her degree with a major in psychology and a minor in art. She ultimately chose to follow a career in art, and continued her art education with private instruction in Georgia, Florida and Washington State.

After previously working in oils and acrylics, she decided in 1980 to devote herself exclusively to the demanding and challenging field of intaglio. Because she had little experience in this field of art, but learned as she practiced, Judith considers herself self-taught in the field of etching and continues to learn and better herself in it.

Judith Hall maintains her working studios in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains as well as an island off the coast of Georgia. Judith's work is represented in numerous private and public collections throughout the United States and Europe.
