Ken Hawk is a recognized a watercolorist with a very loyal following. While most of his artistic skills were self taught, Ken has had the opportunity to work with some the most distinguished watercolorist of our generation; Millard Sheets and Dong Kingman. Although the expert guidance of these masters is noticeable in Ken's work, the distinct patterns of bold strokes and vivid colors are still unequalled. On a national plane, Hawk was a featured artist in American Artist magazine, and was 1 of only 24 artists chosen for the American Cancer Society official Christmas Cards. Hawk’s art can be found in numerous individual and corporate collections.
