German artist M. Hillmann was born in a small village near Munnich in the early nineteen thirties. Demonstrating a natural affinity and skill with a paint brush at an early age, Hillmann later joined with five other Germanic landscape painters to form an artist studio and symposium. While each studio participant had his own respective strengths, Hillmann’s specialty was of his representation of the classic “forest landscape.”
