From the time she was a young girl growing up in Armenia, Mariya Martirosyan has expressed herself through art. As a child, she taught herself how to paint by experimenting with different media. Eventually, Mariya opted for some formal training as well, namely at the University of Fine Art in Yerevan, Armenia. After completing her studies, Mariya exhibited her work in many solo and group shows across Armenia and Russia. She has since moved to the United States with her family, painting all the while. Mariya has had exhibitions in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Tampa, New York, and Chicago.
