Mary Henderson began receiving recognition for her artistic talents when she was only eight years old. She has been painting ever since, preferring to use watercolor paints which are conducive to her delicate paintings. Years of study have only improved her style and creativity, and her use of color and natural brushstrokes are a result of this. Henderson’s talent has earned her great deal of positive attention; she recently earned the coveted Silver Medallion from New York’s Grumbacher, Inc. She has also displayed her artwork in numerous juried art shows, festivals, and galleries. Henderson’s remarkable paintings can be found in galleries and private collections across the United States and as far afield as Australia and Sweden.
