R. Hirschel was born in Kassel, Germany in 1922. He studied art in Dusseldorf, Germany. In 1948 he moved to Munich, where he began exhibiting his paintings of animals and landscapes.
Hirschel has been exhibited with American Continental Art Gallery, The Brass Bell, and Frame House of Evansville.
