Tito Castaneda was born in Peru in 1954. In addition to being a painter he also has been teaching art at various locations for several years, including the Universidad San Martin.

Castaneda refers to himself as a classic painter. His consideration is based not only on the subject matter he chooses, but the techniques as well. He has had several notable exhibitions held at well known spaces including the Municipality of San Isidro, the Municipality of Lince, the County Club of Cajamarca and the Museum of Natural Sciences.
